Describe the surfaces
Different surfaces need different pressure and treatments. A few details and photos help the provider quote accurately.
- Driveway, paths, patio, pool surround or walls
- Surface type: concrete, pavers, tiles, timber or render
- Approximate area in square metres
- Stains such as oil, mould or rust
Water and access
Let the provider know where the outside taps are, whether they have water at the property and any access limits for equipment.
Before the final inspection
If the clean is part of your end-of-lease preparation, allow time for surfaces to dry before the inspection and check whether the agent expects it.
Roofs and heights
Roof and second-storey cleaning involve working at height. The provider confirms whether they offer it and how they do it safely.
