End-of-lease cleans are quoted on the size and condition of the property. A few details help the provider judge the time involved.
- Bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas
- Carpets, blinds, oven and window tracks
- Outdoor areas, balconies or garages included in the lease
- Your key handover or final inspection date
Time it with the move
A bond clean works best once the property is empty. Allow time between the removalist finishing and the cleaner starting, and before your agent’s inspection.
Use your entry condition report
Your entry condition report and the agent’s checklist show what is expected. Share them with the provider and ask how they handle a re-clean if the agent raises an issue.
Confirm what is included
Carpet steam cleaning, pest treatment and window exteriors are often priced separately. The provider confirms what their quote covers. Moovers does not guarantee the return of your bond.
