A list with photos is the fastest way to a useful quote. Group jobs by room and note any materials you already have.

Check what needs a licence
In Queensland, electrical, plumbing and some building work must be done by appropriately licensed trades. The provider confirms which jobs they are able to do.
Renting? Ask first
Check with your agent or landlord before drilling, mounting or making changes, and before repairing damage at the end of a lease.
Timing around the move
Some jobs are easier in an empty house, like patching before you leave. Others, like assembly, happen after delivery. Tell the provider which address and which date suits each job.
